How can I pay for emPOWER Customer Service?


  • All registration fees for emPOWER Customer Service 2020 are in U.S. dollars.
  • Conference registration fees will be accepted with a valid credit card: American Express, MasterCard, or Visa only.
  • You may choose to pay with the same credit card for the multiple registration fees or use individual credit cards for each transaction.


Registration Information

Does the registration fee include airfare, transportation and hotel accommodations?

All costs for airfare, ground or airport transfers, and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.

Are meals included with my registration?

Yes, beginning with the welcome reception on Monday night through lunch on Wednesday.

Where can I find the conference agenda?

Where will general session be held?

General session will take place on the 39th floor of the EAST, Miami hotel in The Crush ballroom.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to The refund policy is as follows:

  • On or before February 7, 2020: Full refund, less a $75.00 handling fee
  • February 8, 2020 or later: No refund (no shows are ineligible for a registration fee refund)


What is the substitution policy?

Substitutions, including those made on-site, may be transferred to another colleague from the same company at no additional charge. Please notify J.D. Power via, so we can amend our appropriate records. Substitutions outside the same company as original registration will not be granted. Substitutions are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from the J.D. Power Events Team.

Please include the following information:

  • Full names of both the original registrant and substitute registrant
  • Original registrant’s confirmation number
  • Please note: Cancellation and/or transferring of any travel and/or hotel reservations are at the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.


I have completed my registration. When and where can I pick up my badge?


  • You can pick up your badge at Registration, located in The Crush Foyer on the 29th Floor of the EAST, Miami hotel during registration hours.
  • You will be required to show a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.
  • emPOWER Customer Service badges will not be mailed.


What if I lose my badge onsite?

Please visit the registration desk to receive a replacement.

Is there a discount room rate at the EAST, Miami hotel?

Yes, J.D. Power has a negotiated room rate of $349.00 plus all applicable state and local taxes. To take advantage of our discounted rates, please click here to book your room.

The discounted hotel blocks will fill quickly, so book your room early. Room rates are based upon availability and special rates expire on Friday, February 28, 2020.

Miami International Airport (MIA) is the is the main commercial airport for Miami, Florida. It is located roughly 10 miles from the EAST, Miami hotel.

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

There are many different transportation options in Miami, including taxis, car rental and private car services.

During the conference, business casual attire is appropriate. Plan to bring a jacket for the cool evening temperatures.

What kind of weather should I anticipate?

The average temperatures in Miami, FL are mild in March, where we can expect a low of 67°F to a high of 77°F. Please note that the meetings will be held indoors, so please plan accordingly.
